Our story
It started with a familiar kind of frustration. We would have a dozen browser tabs open at once: a tip calculator in one, a mortgage estimator in another, a GPA tool buried three ads deep on some cluttered page, and a tax calculator that only made sense if you happened to live in one specific country. The numbers were simple. Everything around them was not.
One late night, working through a decision that actually mattered, it hit us: the hard part was never the math. It was the hunting, the pop-ups, the tools that quietly assumed everyone lived in the same place, earned in the same currency, and thought about money the same way. That felt wrong. Useful tools should not be a scavenger hunt.
So we decided to build the thing we wished already existed: a single, calm home for the calculators people reach for again and again. No clutter, no gatekeeping, no assumptions about where you are from. Whether you are splitting a dinner bill in Karachi, planning a mortgage in Toronto, checking a GPA in Manila, or estimating tax almost anywhere on the map, it should just work.
That is the whole idea behind eCalculator: bring the tools together, keep them honest and easy, and make them genuinely usable for anyone, anywhere. We are building the tools we actually use ourselves, and we are glad you are here using them too.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about our calculators, privacy, and how to get the most from the site.
Is eCalculator free to use?
Yes. Every calculator on our site is completely free. No sign-up, no subscription, and no paywall. We built these tools for ourselves and kept them open for everyone.
Do you store the numbers I enter into calculators?
No. Your financial data, grades, health inputs, and other calculator entries are processed locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to our servers unless you voluntarily contact us by email.
Which countries and currencies are supported?
Our money-related calculators support 25+ currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, INR, PKR, CAD, AUD, JPY, AED, and more. The income tax calculator covers 18+ countries with progressive bracket estimates, plus a custom flat-rate option for anywhere else.
Are the results professional financial or tax advice?
No. Our tools provide educational estimates to help you plan and explore scenarios. They are not a substitute for advice from a qualified financial advisor, tax professional, doctor, or other licensed expert. Always verify important decisions with a professional.
How accurate are the calculator results?
We use standard formulas: amortization for mortgages, progressive brackets for tax estimates, ERA for baseball, and widely cited heart-rate equations. Accuracy depends on the data you enter and real-world variables our tools cannot capture (deductions, lender fees, fitness level, etc.). Treat results as informed starting points, not guarantees.
Can I use the site on my phone?
Yes. The site is fully responsive and works on phones, tablets, and desktops. Use the menu icon on mobile to navigate between calculators, and switch between light and dark mode with the theme toggle.
Why are all the calculators on one site?
We got tired of opening ten tabs for ten different tools, each with ads, clutter, and country-specific assumptions. We brought the calculators people actually use into one calm, consistent place that works for users anywhere in the world.
How do I report a bug or request a new calculator?
We would love to hear from you. Reach out via our Contact page or email us at [email protected]. We read every message.
